Welcome to the webpage of NWK (Nordjydsk Windsurfing Club). On this page we have displayed some important information about the club for our English visitors.

NWK is located at the end of Stenholmsvej in Nørresundby. If you open the spotguide in the top menu you can see the club by zooming in at the location of the red markor. All club members have a key for the clubhouse (See picture bellow).

NWK was founded in 1992 with the purpose to spread out windsurfing in the northern part of Jutland. There is about 130 members in the club. Women, men and children. Beginner surfers, medium surfers, good surfers and hardcore surfers.

Club evening

Every wedensday we have an official club evening where members meet to surf if there is wind or just to hang out and enjoy the BBQ. Sometimes we are also playing Beachvolley, wakeboarding or waterskiing. The 2. wedensday in every month NWK-Open is held if the wind allows it. NWK-Open is a slalom race split in classes after skills so everybody can join the race.

On every club evening we light up the BBQ and enjoy some well-prepared hotdogs ;-)

Junior surf

Every tuesday there is traning for the young and hopefull surfers. There is allways at least one teaching instructor present and the club speedboat is in the water to secure the young surfers.
